Know About California Spring Break

CALIFORNIA SPRING BREAK is the time of year when students in California get a chance to let loose and have some fun, before they go back to studying for finals. It is traditionally celebrated in the second week of March, with college students usually experiencing one last blast before summer semester sets in.

While there are a variety of destinations within the state that can offer an authentic taste of California’s culture and lifestyle, it is also worth noting that it doesn’t have to be Californian for you to experience all the quintessential elements associated with spring break:

1. Sunbathing on the beach

This is arguably the most obvious aspect of the California spring break experience, but in reality you don’t really have a choice. One thing that you might be surprised to hear is that most beachfront resorts are off-limit for Californian college students for this week.

There are many, many beaches across the state that California residents can visit where they can let their hair down and enjoy the warm March sun. Last minute deals are also often available on travel websites, so you may be able to find an affordable ticket as late as Friday afternoon on one of these sites. Alternatively, some resorts offer daily tickets and packages at very competitive prices.

2.Partying at night

This is the part of the California Spring Break experience that you’ve probably seen in movies, and why most college students go to Southern California: because there are so many great things to do that excite students and also, because there are so many great places all under one roof. There are so many opportunities to party at night, like:

The breathtaking Marina Del Rey is home to a popular celebrity haunt, the House of Blues. The crowd is young, fun and full of life and it is renowned for being a good place for singles looking for love or a hook-up.

3.Spending some quality time with friends.

This is a major aspect of the California spring break experience; this is where students get to know each other, bond and make memories. Usually, there are bunches of activities that are open to all partygoers and at many of these activities you can also meet people.
